Social and environmental performance of subcontractors

Brandili's production chain has more than 60 specialized subcontractors, certified by ABVTEX (Associação Brasileira do Varejo Têxtil - Brazilian Textile Retail Association), who work in various areas such as: sewing, embroidery, localized printing, rotary printing, cutting, sublimation, and laundry.

Through the ABVTEX certification we seek to ensure decent working conditions in the supply chain, which involve, but are not limited to, combating labor analogous to slavery, child labor, and the use of immigrants in irregular conditions.

Encouraging the adoption of good management practices and socio-environmental responsibility, Brandili contractually requires from its subcontractors a commitment and positive socio-environmental impact.

In addition to its socio-environmental commitment, Brandili requires its subcontractors to comply with legal requirements, including the management of textile waste, which is returned to the Brandili facilities for proper final disposal.

Aiming at the development of a more sustainable chain, Brandili carries out semi-annual monitoring and follow-up of its subcontractors based on the ABVTEX program.

Brandili is committed to encouraging its subcontractors to strive for increasingly better working environments and to adopt ethical principles in their operations. We understand that for the future of our business it is necessary to value the entire production chain, seeking to establish relationships of trust and the growth and development of all
