Green Seal Chico Mendes Institute

Having transparency as one of the pillars of its governance, Brandili Têxtil has held since May 18, 2022, the Green Seal in Responsible Socio-environmental Management of PROCERT (Certification Program for Commitment to Socio-environmental Responsibility), issued by the Chico Mendes Socio-environmental Research and Responsibility International Institute, an entity committed to socio-environmental responsibility.

PROCERT is an environmental certification that recognizes institutions committed to sustainability in all their activities. These organizations prove to their partners that they implement comprehensive solutions, encompassing environmental, social and economic aspects in their actions, management, and products.

Green Seal renewed in 2023

PROCERT's objective is to contribute to the improvement of social and environmental management systems by providing an insightful analysis of the current management of the company or institution. In addition, the program provides feedback on procedures that can be improved, encouraging continuous improvement.

The Instituto Internacional de Pesquisa e Responsabilidade Socioambiental Chico Mendes stands out as an important Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that demonstrates a true commitment to socio-environmental causes on the national scenario. Its work is multifaceted, seeking to encourage changes in concepts and attitudes in Brazilian society in favor of social justice, environmental balance, and respect for life.

The organization acts as a catalyst for change, aiming not only to preserve the environment, but also to improve the quality of life of the communities involved. Its comprehensive work reflects a commitment to promoting sustainable and equitable development for the benefit of present and future generations.

As parameters for evaluating Brandili, internal and external social actions, the management of energy, water and solid waste issues, environmental, social and business management, legislation, biodiversity conservation, among others, were considered. The awarding of the Green Seal allows us to signal to the consumer that the institution is environmentally correct, economically viable, and socially fair.

In 2023, we renew the Green Seal, proving that for another year our environmental preservation, social justice, and socio-environmental management practices contribute to sustainable development.
